NTU VISIT
by Helen Darwood-Brown (Staff) - Tuesday, 6 June 2017, 2:41 PM

Sutton Road Year 6 pupils have been lucky enough to be selected for a visit to Nottingham Trent University on Friday 16th June 2016.

The activities have been designed to provide an enjoyable, fun day with an opportunity to sample a taste of university life and the benefits that higher education can bring.  Part of the day will involve a “mini graduation” ceremony.

We will be leaving school at 8.45 am on this day so children will need to arrive at school for 8.30. We will aim to be back at school for the end of the day but will notify parents if we will be any later.

The day will involve indoor and outdoor activities and the organisers have advised children bring coats in preparation for this. School uniform should also be worn. Children will need to bring a packed lunch for the day and school will provide packed lunches for free school meals.

The pupils are very lucky to be given this opportunity to take part in activities led by experienced personnel and we believe this will teach them important life skills for their futures.

 Yours sincerely

 Mrs Blakeley and Mrs Mitchell
