Sundown Trip - Foundation 2
by Helen Darwood-Brown - Thursday, 15 June 2017, 1:05 PM

As a finale to our term, we have planned a day trip to Sundown Adventure land on Thursday 13th July for the children to enjoy a tour of the farm, storybook village, Captain Sandy’s Playcove, Lollipoppet Castle and much more.

The children must be in school by 8.40am for register and the bus will be leaving school promptly at 9.00am. We aim to return to school by the end of the school day 3.10pm.

Children will be provided with a packed lunch for the day as part of the Universal school meals programme.  We will ask you to select your child’s choice of sandwich at a later date.  The children will need plenty of drink in a bag they can carry (Rucksack). Please ensure no fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolates are included.

The children do not have to wear school uniform for the day so please ensure they are dressed appropriately for the weather.  Please ensure sun cream is applied before the trip and sun hats are included.  Waterproof jackets are advisable as the British weather seems to be unpredictable at the moment.

The cost per child will be £15.15 which includes the coach fare and entry to and all activities at Sundown. If you are in receipt of pupil premium funding (FSM) for your child the cost of the trip will be £7.57. The full amount will need to be paid by Thursday 6th July. All payments need to be paid using the school SQuid account. No cash payments will be accepted.

All F2 children not attending the trip will need to attend school as normal and will spend the day in Key Stage 1.  No authorised absences will be given for children failing to attend on this day

If you would like to support the trip as a parent helper then please indicate on the slip below.    Places are limited and will be allocated after all children have been catered for.  Prices will be at the same cost as a child’s place. You will be advised if you are able to accompany the trip at a later date.

Thank you, Kate Evans (Foundation Lead/AHT)
